Hello internet!

Welcome to the new home of Comic Review Weekly, right here on The Podcast Network! I just thought I’d take a moment to introduce you to the show, its hosts, and this blog.

We review comics. Weekly. Well, I guess that about sums up the show. But what about the hosts? Where did this show come from? WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS OUTRAGE?

One thing at a time, please. About a year ago, comics writer Marty Blevins and myself decided it would be fun to enlist the help of our friend Andy Slaughter to head up a weekly show devoted to reviewing comics and comics related…things. Andy hit the ground running and we soon discovered his knack for articulate reviews, without giving away important spoilers. How he does this? We suspect alien technology.

A year and 54 episodes later, we find ourselves embarking on a new phase here on TPN. Look forward to plenty of excellent reviews, attempts at witty banter, and general tom-foolery at the hands of Andy, Marty and myself.

Look for our first TPN episode right here at the beginning of next week (Jan. 15, 2007)
