Sometimes I get the chance while doing commissions to do some semi-obscure characters. In fact, it seems that I typically get requests for characters that are out of the mainstream consciousness. This particular one features a couple members from the JSA. There’s so many more characters even in the superhero genre than your iconic Superman, Wonder Woman, and Batman that it seems a shame more time isn’t spent fleshing out their stories. But then again, it’s a business…and I suppose you do what you know is going to sell.
